UNNOTICED !!

The above picture is Lovely isn't it ! On seeing this pic i'm very sure the reader would want to visit the place and sit there for a while watching the serene beauty (don't ya?) .

Hmm it was around six in the evening and we ( i, Sayantan Basu & Ravi Bakaliya) reached Bagmane Tech Park by auto rickshaw , hoping that Ogilvy&Mather (our dream company) would let us do our  end semester(MBA) dessertation with them.Bagmane Tech Park is situated in C.V.Raman Nagar south Bangalore and is a home for many MNC's and our dream company too :)

Just as i got out of the rick the above scene(in d pic) caught my attention!! A lake, sunset, multi-cloured sky ....wow!! Forgetting the fact that the lake was not mainitained at all and was evidently filthy otherwise it was very beautiful! However what also struck me was that, i could not find anyone around me watching this amazing view, there were hundreds of people rushing back home and just neglecting the entire evening show by mother nature. Common guys!!Everyone wants to buy peace for money .....luxury resorts,lavish tours,yoga,Spa and what not, isn't it rediculous! Atleast i find it rediculous when people cannot find peace in simple things around them like sun rise , sun set, moon, clouds ,stars, the warmth of sunrays,the wind slap on ya face,flowers,rain and many more!

Its irony that nobody has time for all this but have time for amusement parks,gaming zones,movies etc. . Peace is right here around us and its there everyday !I found peace today at bagmane tech park while i stood there watching the sunset amidst all the people who were desperate to get out of the place although i had a very long and tiring day!


My question is "Do we have to spend money for peace and relaxation???"
 "If we don't appreciate our planet Earth then who else will???"

Wish i could !

Wish i could pack my clothes , borrow some money(Ofcourse my frens will lend :P wont ya guys??) & set off to somewhere far far far far away from where i'm now!

Breaking all the bonds that are chasing me. All the way into the arms of nature , where i would never find a reason to shed a tear. And actually breathe ,sense the feel of living and hear me within.

Walk through the villages,smell the fields, click a picture with the scare crow :P , lay by the river bank and gaze at the moon, climb up the mango tree, sit on the mountain cliff watching the passing clouds and the rest of the world deep down, row a boat, lay on a beach and watch the sky, build a sand castle and watch it being washed away by the waves,collects the seashells and wear one on my neck :P, watch the sunrise & sunset, dance to the music of rain and on and on & on & on..... !!!

Wish i could pack off my clothes and set off...

I thought it was my destiny

Soccer !!!

"Soccer is a hope" that is what one of my most loved friend says :)

It was my friend Sayantan Basu's much awaited day i.e Mohun Bagan Vs HAL , Soccer match @ Bangalore. Since he came down to bangalore for education and so missed all the football action back home(West Bengal) this was like an oasis to supress his football thirst :)

We friends (Neha, Rohit,Ravi&Me) have heard a lot about the team Mohun Bagan from him and how a simple word against the team can get u into trouble :P  and a soccer ignorant like me had to think twice :) We friends stand united in all we do and so did we share this "Mohun Bagan Soccer Team Fan " Tag :)

Me and Rohit were Bengalurians and was odd to be not supporting HAL, our home team(bengaluru) and instead cheer for Kolkata :P still we somehow liked the smile on our friends face when we did that and thats all we wanted :)

The game was a thrilling experience and ofcourse,Mohun Bagan won the match (4-2)!!! All 4 goals where scored in the 2nd half session and so you can imagine the anxiety,excitement,screams and not to forget the slangs :P Also, Neha was left with no nails on her fingers :P

However, i was surprised to hear the prize money announced for the man of match. It was Rs 5000 !!! Common a substitute player from indian cricket team will spend this on tips at hotels. But why is this differentiation ,is football not a real sport or the reason is that there is no real money involved yet! Hardly  any of us know that India won the SAFF championship - 2011 and instead i saw war of posts on facebook  by sachin , Rahul & Sehwag's Fans which was rediculous.The news channels were busy trying to figure out who is god now ...sachin or sehwag or Sri Rama or Allah or baba ramdev or puttaparti saibaba..its heights !!!

But my question is , who is to be blamed for today's unfortunate fate of Indian football, hockey,Kabbadi players???  and the fortunate fate of indian cricket team ????

We, the public? They, the government, sponsors,Media???

And the answer is "ALL"!!

So you want an Entreprenuer to become a sales guy?? and name it" DEVELOPMENT!!"

We have the man power,we have the resources,we have the knowlege pool !! and why is our governement wanting to employ all the entrepreuners as store guys in a foriegn company???Why can't they support entrepreneurship,its high time they realise we can't be the labour all the time we need to be the "OWNERS".

I say a BIG "NO" to FDI in Retail Sector.

What employment is government talking about? Its a day light robbery.When our own government cannot do justice to our farmers ,how can they expect that Foriegn retailers will be crystal clear and no corruption, as if they are coming here for some kind of charity purpose!!

One of my friend during our debate on the very same topic said " even in 1991 when the liberalization was to be passed ,many people opposed to it and now look how beneficiary it has turned to be..similarly why not let the FDI in Retail sector".But what he could not understand was that it is different with "Retail sector" and who said KFC did not affect the sales of the local snack outlets or restuarants, i bet it did and still does.

Why give a huge 51% Market share to an outsider and give them the power over our distribution networks and at the end we the consumers are the most affected ones. The Politicians will have their share of benefits, if not they would never support the whole act in first.

Why cant our government support the retailers who have already established in recent times and welcome entrepreneurs to venture into Retail market inorder to provide employment ,buy from farmers.This will create a WIN-WIN situation for the everyone involved.

For example if Walmart is going to buy 30% of its goods from indian farmers then what about the rest,,,a huge 70%??? is it going to come from CHINA??

Atleast this is not the right time for FDI in India as we do not have the sufficient infrastructure for manufacturing low cost goods and hence the 70% will to be imported and its not that the foriegn retailers are going to provide the highest quality goods for the cheapest prices because theyare coming here for BUSINESS and not charity!

"What you think is not practical, its immature" (DUDE ! you think you are matured, c'mmon be practical ,ha !)

"Do not stick on to what you think is right" (If i do not stand for myself will you?? )




Why are some people just a "pain in the neck" ??

Two Faces - some times more than that too !!

Some of "the PEOPLE" i met so far in my life have puzzled me and even changed the entire perception that i had over concepts like love,friendship,sharing,self respect,sacrifice,independence and basically a happy life!

I would'nt say the change was all negative because even the negative has got along positive with it. The reason for saying the above is the fact that "I am a bloddy optimistic" :P .

What i have been told by one among "The People"  is that : " To be happy & successfull , one needs to be selfish & selfless" .But my question here is to what extent??? What do they mean by Happy??How are they measuring the success??? is being successfull always a must? Its not this statement that made me puzzled, its the fact that almost everyone around me believes this philosophy except for few who are by all means my friends( coz birds of the same feather flock together :P)

But by solving all the puzzels i came to a set of conclusions which "The People" would not agree to even their dreams (but would agree if said i can assure 6 digit salary job :)).and it goes...

Truth is the sharpest knife and i have it!
Self  Respect is the world's most expensive jewellery and i'm wearing already!
Love means mom,dad and sis , who never give up on me wat may come!
Success is a weed and i would pull it out ,the day it appears in my garden!
Failure is a boon, i promise to make effecient use of it !
Trust to me are my bunch of friends :)

Being happy always need not be connected to money,power,job! being happy means having all that i have mentioned above !!!

I AM HAPPY!!!
